Where do I sit?
After developing my research around physical restriction, I believe my fabrics would be most suitable for high end fashion. I am naturally drawn to, and very inspired by female fashion so my fabrics will be aimed at women's wear as this is my strength. Having my fabrics as high end will allow me to be creative and produce unique fabrics that can be experimental, as there are limitations that come with creating commercial fabrics. Sandra Backlund is a designer who works in the area of women's knitted fashion, an area I would like to work in, and where I believe my fabrics sit in the industry.
